upSustainable Agriculture
Sustainable agriculture implies use of renewable or reusable resources rather than consumption and exhaustion of finite resources. Sustainable agriculture means a system of food production that over many years, is environmentally neutral or beneficial, is economically viable, and produces good quality food and other goods in large quantities to meet world needs.

Organic Farming Organic farming can be defined as the raising of crops without the use of pesticides, and (not necessarily according to all definitions), also without the use of artificial fertilisers. In recent
times it has also come to exclude the use of any plants with genetically modified germplasm. This category deals with the techniques of organic farming where they differ from those of conventional farming.

Czech Udržitelné zemědělství se vztahuje na schopnost farmy či statku produkovat potraviny „do nekonečna,“ bez dlouhodobého poškození půdy a přilehlých ekosystémů. Tato forma
hospodaření respektuje a spolupracuje s cyklem půdních živin: půda živí rostliny --> rostliny živí živočichy --> živočišné a rostlinné ostatky živí půdu --> půda živí další rostliny.

(less...) Permaculture Permaculture is an integrated design system for sustainability. The word "permaculture" is a contraction of "permanent agriculture" or "permanent culture." Its roots are in the design of productive
ecosystems for farms and gardens. A central theme in permaculture is the design of ecological landscapes that produce food. Emphasis is placed on multi-use plants, cultural practices such as sheet mulching and trellising, and the integration of animals to recycle nutrients and graze weeds. Permaculture concepts also reach beyond farming and gardens that into designs for all types of resilient, sustainable structures, both physical and social. It is a philosophy of maximum effort at the design stage to allow minimum effort and side-effects once the system is running, instead of the conventional method which is often the reverse.
(less...) Reduced Tillage Farming This name includes a group of practices that are also known as, or include, the following; conservation tillage; no-till farming; high-residue farming. It is based on minimal or no cultivation, and
